Musical Performers

Catonsville Middle School Celtic Ensemble: local students performing Celtic music.

Cu Dubh:

The sound of ancient thundering war drums and skirling dual bagpipes like you've never heard before. Tribal warrior music at its best.

Dance Fairies Dance:

Upbeat, original, family-friendly dance music performed by two fancifully costumed and fun-loving fairies.

Frenchie and the Punk:

joyfully blends foot-stompin' folk, cabaret, world music, French chanson and '80's punk, with vaudeville charm, pixie spirit and steampunk flair.

Ocean Celtic:

The East Coast's premiere Celtic fusion band.

Jessica Star:

A solo artist whose moving vocals and guitar accompaniment totally fascinate and uplift her audience.

Pixi Thistielily: "Circus in the Woods' incorporates ground circus acts like juggling and stilt walking with above-ground circus skills like aerial silks and static trapeze.

Ray Owen:

A solo artist who combines Folk, Americana, and Roots Acoustic Music, Blues and Swing, Country-Eastern, and Celtic and Western music.

Shane Speal:

A blues/rock singer and songwriter who entertains with a homemade cigar box guitar.

Telesma plus Indra Lazul Belly Dancers:

an ecstatic trans-cultural phenomenon with a highly infectious and danceable beat.

Victoria Vox:

a mix of neo-folk/pop/rock and jazz.

Strolling Performers

Barrage Band Orchestra:

A wandering brass band in the Balkan and Second Line traditions making a chaotic and joyous noise at home in the realm of the fay.

Cam Magic/ The McGicians: Solo walkaround/sidewalk style magic and escape show.

Ceol Anam Cara:


a six-piece band that plays Irish Traditional Music.

Faery Ring Theater:

Kiwi and Quince, two faeries who will delight you with their fast-paced, interactive story-telling.

Hayley Jane:

Celtic, cabaret, folk, rock and miscellaneous pop standards served on a leafy bed of glamor and glitz, garnished with silly jokes and sassy stories.

Kaeli: A hula hoop and fire dancer.

Maugorn the Stray: wandering minstrel and medieval one-man band.

offers a combination of street magic and circus skills.

Wedji Tucheeks:

A green and ugly Trans-Fae Goblin enjoyed by kids and adults alike.

Lestrythus the Dragon: entertains children with his puppet friends.

Posie the Fairy:


Tea Party Hostess, offering charming tea parties for all ages!

Aubergine Dance:

performs "The Perfect Fairie Dance", which utilizes songs from around the world and giant puppets in costumes.

Fairie Ring Dance Collective: a belly dance troupe whose performances can range from high energy and excitement to beautiful and mystical.

Scheherazade, the Gypsy Temptress

 singing, dancing and audience participation for all ages. "Scheherezade, the Gypsy Temptress, is honored to be returning to celebrate her 10th year
here at the Fairie Festival. Her gypsy show consists of stories about gypsy life and gypsy dancing. The show also includes belly dance lessons, singing and audience participation - fun for the entire family! Opa! Scheherezade would like to thank Rob and Lucy Wood for all their support and for giving her the opportunity to perform for so many wonderful people at such a magical place! Kubiando!"
